The Senate of Oliy Majlis jointly with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan has organized a meeting with entrepreneurs which was dedicated to providing dynamic development of entrepreneurship in our country, the qualitative improvement of the business climate.
During the event parliamentarians, economists and experts stressed that Uzbekistan pays special attention to the fundamental enhancement of the role of entrepreneurship in economic development, the elimination of existing barriers in its activities, the creation of more optimal legal-economic environment and incentives to increase the share of private sector in the GDP.
It was emphasized the importance of the introduction of new mechanisms of state control aimed at ensuring reliable legal guarantees against unjustified interference in the activities of business entities.
This can be seen in the introduction of the complex of measures on development of information and communication technologies in the activity of state bodies in the system “Electronic Government”, expanding the forms of relationships of business entities with the competent authorities, including the provision of public services to businesses through “single window” centers.
A lively exchange took place on topical issues related to the work of the banking sector, the organization of export and import process, and the order of taxation and tax administration were also touched. Views were expressed on the practical strengthening of inviolability of private property and investment.
