In order to familiarize entrepreneurs with new opportunities created for them in accordance with the Decree of the President “On measures on further improvement of the activities of the Fund for Support of exports of small business and private entrepreneurship entities”, the Fund together with public authorities carried out roundtables in all regions of the republic. Another corresponding event was held in Tashkent. It was noted that as a result of ongoing economic reforms, the export potential of our country is growing rapidly, the products with the label «Made in Uzbekistan» take their worthful place in the global market.
During the event, representatives of the Fund talked about the new opportunities created for businesses in accordance with the decree. In particular it was noted that for the quality of financial services, the authorized capital of the Fund has been increased by three times and reached 10 billion soums and 2 mln US dollars. The Fund also received the right to open representative offices in foreign countries. In addition, the event participants were familiarized with the new services of the Fund on providing pre-export financing.
– A relevant Presidential decree envisages the Fund’s participation in the authorized capital of small business and private entrepreneurship entities that do not have sufficient equity capital for production of export-oriented products, followed by the sale in the established by the legislation order of the Fund’s share at market value within two years from the beginning of the production and supply for export, – says Deputy Director of the Fund for support of exports of small business and private entrepreneurship entities Kamoliddin Nurmatov.
Participants of the event also provided information on the procedure of participation of small business and private entrepreneurship entities in the procurement and tenders, conducted by international organizations such as the World Bank, the German Society for International Cooperation, the Korea International Cooperation Agency and others.
Thus, the work on support of small business and private entrepreneurship entities, rendering enterprises exporters legal, financial and organizational assistance contributes to a further increase in their numbers and the growth of exports of domestic products.
