President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with activities of “Bio Techno Eco” LLC on sorting and recycling waste in Angor district.
The company specializes in collection, sorting of waste from the city of Termez, Termez and Angor districts, as well as production of finished products through their processing. More than $8 million was spent on construction and installation work, installation of modern technologies and purchase of special equipment for waste transportation.
The plant has a capacity for sorting and processing more than 182 thousand tons of waste per year. Polyethylene pipes from recycled plastic, mosaic tiles from glass, briquettes for fuel from wood, cardboard and paper from waste paper, biogas and biohumus from organic food waste will be produced here. It is planned that the enterprise will be commissioned in late January this year. 150 people have already been employed. Another 250 people will be provided with work when the plant will start operating.
Presentation of projects on development of coal industry, hydropower, transport and other spheres, production of construction materials, efficient use of empty facilities was also held here.
