During his visit to Bukhara region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with khokims of the region and districts, heads of economic associations, and officials. Implementation of tasks set during the visit of the Head of the state to the region on February 16-17, 2018, was discussed at the meeting.
Then instructions were given on comprehensive development of the region’s economy, creation of new industrial enterprises and entrepreneurship subjects, improvement of the level of localization and expansion of export volumes, increasing the flow of tourists, structural transformation of agriculture, construction of new housing, social objects. Necessary funds and resources were allocated.
At the meeting, it was criticized that activity in this direction is not carried out at the appropriate level. The projects, implementation of which is not provided or delayed, were noted, and the reasons for this were considered.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev seriously warned responsible persons, allowing passivity in execution of tasks. The President instructed to ensure qualitative and timely implementation of all plans, to take strict measures against managers who fail in their tasks.
