Territorial innovation fairs are held in Uzbekistan in the course of preparation for the 10th National Fair of Innovative Ideas, Technologies and Projects.
In Andijan, more than 250 innovative developments of young scientists, specialists of institutes, research and development institutions of the Academy of Sciences and other departments were presented at this event.
The project of the scientists of Andijan State Medical Institute “Heating of intensive greenhouses with biogas and heat pumps and increase in yield due to laser activation of seeds” invoked great interest among heads of farms and entrepreneurs.
– This technology, along with the provision of greenhouses with the necessary heat, also accelerates the germination of seeds, increases the yield by 20%,” the young researcher Dilmurod Jurayev, head of the Institute’s biophysical laboratory said. – As a result, energy savings are achieved, the cost of production is reduced.
Ideas, developments and technologies are widely represented at the fair in such areas as growing crops, new high-yielding and early-ripening varieties, means of protecting plants and crops from pests, ensuring efficiency in livestock and horticulture, as well as in the field of engineering and energy conservation.
At the seminar-training for young scientists organized within the framework of the event, it was noted that in the region there are ample opportunities for scientific research; experienced farms achieve positive results in application and testing of innovative technologies. An exchange of views was held on further improving the effectiveness of work in this direction, entrepreneurs and farmers were given recommendations on the drafting of contracts, the purchase of new technologies.
Agreements on sale and purchase of new technologies, projects and developments were concluded.
