Prosecutor-General’s Office in Uzbekisan opened criminal cases against 10 top managers of Terra Group LLC, Prime Media LLC and Gamma Promotion, the statement of the Uzbek body said.
The body said that they were engaged in receiving illegal income and legalization of criminal income, evading from payment of tax, hiding hard currency and illegally moved currency abroad via forgery and illegal operation, as well as registration of various fake companies in Uzbekistan and abroad.
The prosecutors are continuing to investigate within the criminal case against the group, the Uzbek body said in its statement.
Prosecutor-General’s Office said that investigation showed that activities of the group (10 people) resulted in huge damages to the government and other companies.
Prosecutor-General’s Office added that the people will be punished in line with the legislation of Uzbekistan.
As reported earlier, Rustam Madumarov, Gayane Avyakyan and Yekaterina Klyueva were arrested on 17 February 2014 within the criminal case, opened against top managers of Terra Group LLC, Prime Media LLC and Gamma Promotion LLC.
