The national airline Uzbekistan Airways has received a new Full-Flight simulator Boeing-767 by the Canadian SAE.

It is currently installed in the simulator complex of the airline in conjunction with SAE specialists. Software and equipment adjustment has started on April 20, to be followed by testing and certification. The launch of the simulator is scheduled for June 9 this year.

“This May, Canadian experts will train a dozen of airline engineers at the NAC Training Center, and afterwards they will be allowed to operate the simulator independently,” reported NAC press service.

With the commissioning of FFS B-767, Uzbekistan will provide training and retraining of pilots for Boeing-767 without involving foreign training centers, and an opportunity to offer training and retraining services for pilots of foreign airlines.

Today, the NAC training center offers up-to-date procedural simulators for Boeing-757/767, A320 and a Full-Flight simulator for the domestic IL-114-100. They allow for training pilot crews for any non-standard situations, with failures and malfunctions, in ultimately realistic conditions.
