A workshop on ensuring a reliable protection of private property, small business and private entrepreneurship, and improvement of the business environment has taken place in Andijan.
The participants exchanged views on the protection of the legitimate rights of entrepreneurs by state bodies, leveraging benefits on tax payments, and active involvement of members of local councils in ensuring publicity and transparency.
“Small business and private entrepreneurship has been actively developing in our country,” says the Head of the Andijan Regional Territorial Administration of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Umrbek Tojiboev. “At present, the share of businesses in the gross domestic product of the region makes up 58%, the provision of employment – 84%. We have been working on improvement of business environment and removing obstacles for business. The local ‘single window’ centers have been contributing in this process too.
