The International Pottery Forum and Fair will be held in Rishtan district of Uzbekistan’s Fergana region in September 2022.
According to the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, the forum aims to widely promote the traditions of pottery that have been formed in the country since ancient times, crafts that are an important branch of the world economy, the preservation of traditions and schools of pottery, the expansion of scientific research in this area, and the exchange of experience.
A scientific and practical conference on preservation and development of traditional ceramics, competitions of ceramic products, masterclasses of foreign and domestic masters, folk festivals, a concert program, exhibitions, presentation of art and documentary films about pottery, excursions to workshops, and other events will be held.
Following the forum, winners will be determined.
