A scientific-practical conference on “Current issues of strengthening legal foundations of the sphere of culture” was held in Tashkent.
Minister of Culture B.Sayfullayev, director of the Republican scientific-methodological center for organization of activities of cultural institutions A.Khaydarov, deputy general director of “Uzbekkino” national agency Sh.Rizayev and others noted that resolutions and other legislative acts adopted in order to further develop national culture and art, are an important factor in improving the sphere in accordance with the requirements of time, increasing spirituality of youth.
New goals and objectives were defined at the meeting of the President of Uzbekistan with representatives of creative intelligentsia on August 3, 2017, in his Address to the Parliament, as well as at the meeting on current issues of culture and art on December 25, 2017.
Thanks to attention paid to the sphere, the material-technical base of museums, theaters and educational institutions is being strengthened, large-scale projects are being implemented on reconstruction of cultural institutions and improving the repertoire of artistic and creative collectives. Friends Clubs have been created for cooperation of cultural and art institutions, large companies and banks. The analysis of the quality of educational process in children’s music and art schools is under constant attention.
Rapidly changing time requires large-scale approach to such an important task as increasing the role and importance of culture and art in our lives at this new stage of renewal and modernization of the country.
Proposals and further plans for strengthening legal basis in the sphere of culture were discussed in detail.
