On June 9-10 this year, the regular summit of the Council of Heads of States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will be held in the city of Qingdao, the People’s Republic of China.
The First Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on mass media on “Development of the Shanghai Spirit – the beginning of a new era in media cooperation” was organized on the threshold of the summit, in Beijing.
Within the framework of the forum, workshops and roundtables on “Creating a new platform for media cooperation, raising the joint development to a qualitatively new stage”, “Strengthening humanitarian ties, ensuring the spiritual unity of people” will be held.
Memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of mass media is expected to be signed between the Press and Information Agency of Uzbekistan and the Press Office of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China.
