Construction of these houses had started in May 2017 and will be completed in March this year. The residential complex consists of 39 five-storey houses, 1024 two and three-room apartments. Trade and service centers will be located on the ground floor. Apartments in houses are provided on credit for a period of 15 years.

Information on new construction projects was also presented here. Six and seven-storey houses will be built on an area of almost 2 hectares, in Kagan.
According to the project of reconstruction of buildings, shopping, entertainment complexes, social facilities will be built on the street of Islam Karimov, in Bukhara.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave his proposals on development of projects.
Master plan of Bukhara provides for restructuring residential areas at intersection of I.Karimov, O.Eshonov, Hamza, M.Iqbol, S.Aini streets. Obsolete buildings will be updated.
– This is a very important issue, – said the President of the country. – For people to be satisfied with life, it is first and foremost necessary to improve their living conditions.
Ibn Sino street is also to be reconstructed. A new housing complex will be built at the intersection of Alpomish and Fergani streets.
The program of improving the multi-storey housing stock of Bukhara region provides for repairing and improving 546 multi-storey houses this year.
– Bukhara is a popular city among tourists. There are many historical monuments, but few modern buildings and structures, – said Shavkat Mirziyoyev. – Modern buildings should be built along these streets. Bukhara should go ahead not only as a historical, but also as an innovative city.
The head of the state has been presented projects of construction of the educational building for 900 places and the clinic for 200 beds in Bukhara State Medical Institute, construction of receiving diagnostic department and reconstruction of the medical building of Bukhara branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care.
According to the plan of development of the passenger transportation system, buses of large capacity will be purchased. New routes from Bukhara region to Moscow, Ufa, St.Petersburg and other Russian cities will be opened. It is also planned to establish seasonal routes and interregional transportation.
– The time has come to improve the transport system, – said the Head of the country. – Prior to this, this sphere was not given sufficient attention. Many bus parks were privatized. Transport does not go to remote areas, and therefore it is difficult for people to come to the city. It is necessary to streamline the public transport system.
The development plan of drinking water supply system in Bukhara region has been considered. So, starting from 2019, most of residents of the region will be provided with drinking water. At present, this figure is 51 percent. The project, implemented with participation of the World Bank, envisages full provision of Karakul and Alat districts residents with drinking water.
The President of Uzbekistan noted the need for speedy implementation of projects, while observing the quality of implemented activities.
