President of Uzbekistan visited Zarbdor textile company in Zarbdor district, during his trip to Jizzakh region. The enterprise is scheduled to be commissioned in April this year, construction and installation works for 17.5 million dollars have already been completed.
The company is capable of producing 31 million square meters of fabric and 6.5 million pieces of knitwear per year. 864 jobs will be created. By expanding production in the third quarter of this year, it is planned to provide employment for another 196 women.
Getting acquainted with the enterprise, the Head of the state noted that ensuring the full processing of cotton grown in the country will allow to produce value-added products and create new jobs.
