President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited one of the military units of the South-West Special Military District in Bukhara region.
All conditions are created in this military unit for increasing the level of combat training of military servicemen. Educational buildings, auditoriums, computer classes, electronic library, cabinets of spirituality and enlightenment, a gym are equipped with the latest equipment and technology.
The President of the country got acquainted with the presentation devoted to reforms in the troops of the Ministry of Defense, improvement of the military intelligence system, activities of the military administrative sector of Bukhara region, construction project of a military town in the region.
Increasing the authority of the military sphere in society, further expanding the outsourcing system in providing dining facilities and institutions with qualitative food products, working with reserve officers, educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and individuals with an active lifestyle were noted.
The Head of the state, getting acquainted with conditions created for living, training and physical training of military servicemen, noted that constantly increasing their theoretical knowledge, skills and combat training should be paid special attention.
The Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan, in a conversation with soldiers and officers, noted that in current troubled and difficult time, the defenders of the Motherland have an extremely responsible task on preserving peace and tranquil life of people, the military servicemen must be always ready to face any threats and challenges.
The army is a reliable shield of our people, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The goal of reforms in the defense system of our country is to ensure the unity of the army and people. We are doing a lot for improving conditions of service of Motherland defenders, strengthening social protection of their families and children. In response, the military servicemen should be worthy of ancestors, deeply master modern knowledge, constantly work on themselves.
Responsible persons were given corresponding instructions on further raising the level of spiritual and enlightenment training of military servicemen, organizing their studies abroad and other issues of improving the military sphere.
