On July 28, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the military unit in Mirabad district of the city of Tashkent. This was reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Head of the state was provided with information about the repairs carried out in the military unit, projects on modernization of communication networks in the defense system, and automation of combat and training process.
“The main thing in the defense system is communication. It is necessary to provide this sphere with modern information and communication technologies, to develop a new strategy for training specialists with deep knowledge in the field of communication security”, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Instructions were given for selection of youth with engineering and technical skills from among the soldiers, improving training and practice in schools specializing in training signalmen, military training skills in modern digital technologies mastery.
The Head of the state also got acquainted with samples of technical means of communication used in the troops of the Ministry of Defense, inspected the conditions created for the military service, talked with soldiers.
