The President got acquainted with conditions created in Namangan city center of public services, watched the process of replacing the driver’s license. Thanks to the electronic system, citizens will be given a new driver’s license within 5 minutes.
An electronic queue system is established in the center, more than 50 types of services are provided to 800-1000 citizens and entrepreneurs per day. There are also People’s reception office, notary, offices of registry, citizenship registration, insurance, cadaster, driver’s license replacement, emergency medical care, bank branch in the building. Children’s playground and a cafe are equipped on the ground floor in order to create amenities for visitors.
– Why did we set up these services? To ensure justice, put an end to corruption and ease people’s lives, – said the Head of the state. – This institution will become a Namangan experience of organizing activities of public service centers, a new model of dialogue with people. And most importantly, henceforth not people, but documents will move in such departments.
On the third floor of the building there are regional department of Scientific Practical Research Center “Oila” (“Family”) and Namangan Innovation Center.
The President paid attention to issues facing the Republican Women’s Committee and “Oila” Scientific Practical Research Center, on eliminating problems and ensuring the interests of women. He noted that for each district of the region it is necessary to study the social situation of families and develop on this basis scientifically sound proposals, conduct analysis on employment and medical culture of women.
– Henceforth representatives of women’s committees will not attend meetings, they will only deal with women’s problems in the areas assigned to them. The biggest mistake in the sphere is that the women’s committees cannot unite around anyone. Only by preventing this, we can achieve a change in the spiritual atmosphere in society, reduce the number of women’s problems, – said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Authorized persons were given important instructions on prevention of unemployment among women, improvement of medical services, housing conditions, and development of women’s entrepreneurship.
After the visit of the Head of the state, Namangan city and 11 district departments of Scientific Practical Research Center “Oila” were presented “Spark” cars.
