As reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Head of the state visited the new building of the academy, commissioned on the eve of the 26th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In January 2017, the President visited Tashkent Higher Combined Arms Command School and gave appropriate instructions on organization of an entirely new Academy of the Armed Forces on its basis. The Academy of the Armed Forces was reorganized by the resolution of the Head of the state of April 25, 2017.
The latest teaching methods and technologies has been introduced at the academy, which has acquired a modern look. Auditoriums are equipped with modern training, educational and laboratory equipment and computers.
The President got acquainted with conditions that are created here, and examined the study rooms, dining room, bedrooms of cadets, observed the learning process.
The Head of our state talked with cadets, congratulated them on the 26th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He noted that they should be worthy of our great ancestors, master knowledge not only in the military, but also in other fields.
