The Sirdaryo Regional council of the movement of entrepreneurs and businessmen – the Uzbekistan Liberal Democratic Party has conducted a training seminar on the subject of “Innovative technologies – opportunities for the development of small and family businesses”.
D.Orolova, the chairperson of the regional women’s committee and deputy hokim (governor) of the region; and others said that special attention was being paid to raising the prosperity of the country’s population, to ensuring women’s and young people’s employment and increasing families’ incomes through developing the small business and private entrepreneurship sphere.
The President’s decree dated 5 October 2016 “On additional measures to ensure the rapid development of entrepreneurial activity, comprehensively protect private ownership and qualitatively improve the business climate” is an important programme document in this sphere.
During the seminar, there was an exchange of views on the significance of innovations, the state’s regulation of innovative activities in the small business sphere and the popularization of small businesses’ experience in the production of goods and the provision of services.
Speeches were heard on the introduction of innovative technologies in family enterprises and on family businesses’ production of goods and provision of services for the population.
