A solo exhibition of People’s artist Akmal Ikromjonov organized at the State Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan in the framework of the Festival of Fine and Applied Arts, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the independence of our Motherland.
At the opening, the rector of the National Institute of Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod H. Aminov, deputy director of the State Art Museum of Uzbekistan J.Temurhodjaev, deputy chairman of the Academy of Arts F.Toshmuhamedov and others noted that under the leadership of President Islam Karimov, the constant attention is paid to the development of national art, ensuring the continuity of the traditions of “Usto-shogird” (Master-pupil).
A.Ikromjonov teaches easel painting at the National Institute of Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod. His works, filled with national spirit, enjoying success at the republican and international exhibitions.
The exhibition features over 30 paintings by the artist, such as “Bouquet”, “On the roads of Kumushkan”, ” Bunch of Grapes”, “After the Rain”, “When hear the birds singing,” “Teahouse. The beginning of spring”.
