Ministry of Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan conducted a seminar on the issues of school textbooks in the 2015/2016 academic year.
It was attended by employees of the public education system, school libraries.
The seminar noted that under the leadership of President Islam Karimov a special attention is paid to provide the younger generation of deep education, upbringing youth in the spirit of respect for national traditions and values, enhance the quality and content of education.
In this process, systematic work is carried out to improve the quality of textbooks, timely delivery of textbooks to educational institutions.
For the 2015/2016 academic year, based on the needs of schools, it is planned to publish more than 25 million 708 thousand copies of textbooks and manuals on 454 names. Today issued printing and publishing textbooks and teaching aids are delivered to the field.
In accordance with the decree of the head of our state “On measures to further improve the learning of foreign languages” on December 10, 2012 as a logical continuation of the previously established foreign language textbooks for 1-2 grades based on state educational standards and curriculum are designed textbook, notebook exercise book teacher, multimedia applications in foreign languages to students of the 3rd grade. Their publication is currently established.
Also on the 2015/2016 academic year 335 thousand prepared manuals 7 titles and 41640 DVD-disk with multimedia applications for primary school teachers on the subjects of “The World around us”, “Mathematics”, “Uzbek language”, “Reading”, “Russian language”, “The book to read”.
