Friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey are increasingly being strengthened in cultural and educational sphere.
According to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of Samarkand Regional Music and Drama Theater performed successfully at the XI International Theater Festival “Thousands of Breaths in a Voice”, organized in the Turkish city of Konya.
“Kuchki” (“Landslide”) performance, presented by the theater staff, aroused great interest among the audience. This performance, staged by famous Uzbek director Valijon Umarov, was warmly received by the public, cultural and art figures of Turkey, admirers of theatrical art.
Specialists of theatrical art highly appreciated the skills of Uzbek actors.
Members of the organizing committee of the festival presented the team of Samarkand Theater a diploma and a statuette for successful participation in the international festival.
