On June 7, 2018, the Regional Forum on “International cooperation in transport sector and customs logistics” with participation of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan entrepreneurs was held at Uzbekistan Hotel, in Tashkent.
The forum was organized by Tashkent Regional Administration of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Ikbol Brok private enterprise, UzLiDep party in Yashnabad district, LLC “Customs Brokerage Center “Zhibek-Zholy”, JSC “KTZ Express” and LLP “Continental Logistics Shymkent”.
According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the forum was organized in order to increase the volume of exports and reduce imports in accordance with the policy pursued by the President of Uzbekistan and thus, search for solutions to eliminate problems that arise when crossing the transit territory (Republic of Kazakhstan) while following export cargoes from Uzbekistan and before entering the territory of the Russian Federation.
At the forum, the Kazakhstan side noted that for a radical solution of this situation, a number of Kazakhstan customs brokerage companies offered their services for preliminary data preparation that is the practice of the “Preliminary information” system, which is used in the experience of the World community.
Head of the territorial department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tashkent region F.Mamanov provided comprehensive information on changes and innovations introduced in the legislation on entrepreneurship, as well as on granted benefits and preferences.
Participants of the event studied opinions, recommendations, as well as problem situations, voiced by entrepreneurs and took appropriate measures on addressing them.
