Tashkent hosts “Dance of Navruz” exhibition – Uzbekistan News
In the State Museum of applied art of Uzbekistan in the framework of the VII Tashkent international photo biennale opened an exhibition of Uzbek photographer Temur Kurbanbayev called “the Dance of Navruz”. It presents 20 photographs, which masterfully captures all the features and uniqueness of the Uzbek national dances of different regions of our Republic.
All means of expression, supplementing it with acting and improvisation, and the main difference from other dances of the peoples of the East are the focus on complex and expressive hand movements and facial expressions used in the national dance. Along with this, the dances of the peoples of Uzbekistan reflect the culture of the region where they come from and why they are so diverse. So, dancing in the Khorezm and Bukhara are accompanied by the tapping of kayraks and choreography of Uzbeks are characterized by smoothness and expressiveness, soft sliding step and the original motion on the spot and circle.
Author of the photos managed to convey the charming beauty of the girls, which complement the bright costumes. Dancers, presented in the photographs, literally captivate the viewer radiated kindness and grace.
Recall that VII Tashkent international photo biennale gathered masters of photography from 32 countries. Approximately 2000 works of foreign and domestic photographers residents.
