Tashkent hosts Open Central Asia Fencing Confederation Championship

The first Open Central Asia Fencing Confederation Championship Junior/Cadets kicked off at the Republican Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve, in Tashkent.
The championship is held by the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, National Olympic Committee, National News Agency, National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, Fencing Federation and a number of other organizations.
The opening ceremony of the championship took place on February 15.
More than 150 athletes from Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan will compete for the victory in the championship organized in Uzbekistan for the first time.
Single-level competitions will last until February 17.
