Tashkent to host an International Biennale of Children’s Drawings

On December 23, 2024, the 10th International Biennale of Children’s Drawings will be opened at the Ikuo Hirayama International Caravanserai of Culture.

In this regard, a press conference was organized in the Conference Hall of Uzbekistan Arts Academy.

“The primary purpose of the international competition is to increase children’s interest in fine arts, support children’s artistic creativity, promote mutual understanding and establish international communication between the younger generation of Uzbekistan and various countries of the world, identify new talents, create additional conditions for improving the professional skills of young art lovers, as well as develop the intellectual level of preschool and school-age children, increase their interest in national and world history and culture, the expansion of ideas about them”, says F. Toshmuhamedov, Deputy Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.

The Director of the Biennale F. Usmanov informed about the creative works submitted to the competition.

About 1000 creative works from authors from 24 foreign countries were accepted for the 10th-anniversary event “Joys of Tashkent.”

At the event, it was announced that the following prizes were allocated for the competition winners: Grand Prix, 7 gold, 7 silver, 7 bronze medals, and 30 commemorative coins. All participants will receive certificates.
