On November 27-30, Tashkent will host PROlogue International Film Festival. On this occasion, a meeting was held at Uzbekistan Youth Union by the First Deputy Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Film Festival Kakhramon Kuranbayev. Issues of organizing the festival at a high-level were discussed.
This prestigious international event is held for the first time by Uzbekistan Youth Union in cooperation with Uzbekkino National Agency, Tashkent city khokimiyat, Cinematography Development Center, Council of Young Film Critics, the National Film Commission of Uzbekistan and other organizations.
On the basis of assignments received at the meeting, demonstrations of short educational films will be organized in universities of the country. Excursions will be organized in the cities and regions of the country for participants of the festival and creators of best films. Cinema art lovers living in the most remote areas of the country will become able to meet their favorite actors and directors.
In the coming days, a special video for the film festival will be presented on TV channels and on the Internet. A press center will be organized for operational and impartial coverage of all processes of the film festival.
