On May 14, this year Tashkent will host an international conference on “Uzbekistan and China: prospects for joint implementation of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative”.
The organizers of the event are the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences in cooperation with the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The main goal of the meeting is to discuss prospects for development of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and China within the framework of the initiative “One Belt, One Road”.
Participants of the conference are experts from leading Chinese research centers, heads of foreign diplomatic missions in Uzbekistan and representatives of state and public organizations of the country.
