Territorial Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange in Tashkent The Tashkent City and Regional Territorial Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange has been launched at the “Uzkurgazmasavdo” center. It is attended by about 400 companies with their products and services.
Deputy Khokim (head of administration) of Tashkent city N.Husanov and others noted that under the leadership of the President of our country special attention, which is given to modernization, technical and technological renewal of the main sectors of the economy, the progressive development of industrial and social infrastructure, the full support of their business, yields good results.
The fair, organized in the framework of execution of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures on organization and holding of International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange in 2016″ from March 3 this year, serves to strengthen the mutual cooperation between entrepreneurs, acting in different directions.
At the fair, was held a presentation of new products. At the presentation during which information was provided about the introduction of advanced technologies in the production process, the results of the localization program and other relevant issues.
Currently, more than 17.5 thousands of different industrial enterprises operate in Tashkent city and region. Most of them operate on the basis of the program localization. The share of industrial production in the gross regional product in Tashkent is 25.2 per cent, in the Tashkent region – 31.5.
Enterprises specializing in sectors such as electrical engineering, metallurgy, machinery, construction materials, pharmaceuticals, medicine, food and light industry, leather and footwear, chemical industry, production of furniture, porcelain actively participate at the fair.
