The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Sardor Rustambayev on February 12 held a meeting with Mr. Sushil Kumar Jain, the Chairman, Pioneers Group of Companies.
During the meeting, information was presented on the results of the modernization process carried out in Uzbekistan in recent years, consistent measures for the dynamic development of all sectors of the economy, the created favorable environment for international cooperation, the export potential of industry, agriculture and other sectors. Particular attention was paid to the prospects for increasing the volume of imports of dried fruits, legumes and other products from Uzbekistan to the Indian market.
Sushil Kumar Jain, noting the high quality and competitiveness of products imported from Uzbekistan, emphasized that there is every reason and opportunity for further intensification of relations in this direction.
During negotiations with Mr. Ugan Jha, the director, Business Development, Ethnic Food Products Solution Ltd. discussed issues of cooperation to expand the volume of fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan to Indian consumers.
Ugan Jha expressed interest in intensifying cooperation with our country and put forward practical proposals for the widespread promotion of Uzbek products on the Indian market.
