The National Centre for Human Rights in cooperation with the Center for Support of Civil Initiatives and the Representation of the UN Population Fund in Uzbekistan held a presentation of the book “The concept of national monitoring of women’s rights in Uzbekistan” in Uzbek and Russian languages.
According to the National Center for Human Rights, the event was attended by representatives of ministries and departments, educational and scientific institutions, NGOs and the media.
The publication is devoted to analysis of the situation in the development of national monitoring of women’s rights in our country, as well as the definition of the conceptual foundations of its improvement, taking into account the provisions of international conventions. It details disclosed objectives and tasks of monitoring, preparation for it, the methods of collecting information, taking action on its results.
