A list of the main streets of Tashkent, subject to reconstruction and repairs in 2015-2016 was approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The document established that the financing of reconstruction and repair of the main streets of the city of Tashkent included in the list will be carried out:
– At the expense of the Republican Road Fund under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan – in terms of reconstruction and repair of the roadway, including watering, irrigation systems, sidewalks, bridges, underground pedestrian crossings, landscaping and lighting within the red lines of the main streets of the city of Tashkent;
– At the expense of the local budget and other funds not prohibited by law, in terms of renovation of the architectural appearance and landscaping, including repair and construction of lighting, sidewalks, fountains, watering and irrigation systems, social facilities, financed by the State budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan, landscaping, repair of the roof and facades of houses, and, if necessary, demolition of facilities located along the main streets of the city of Tashkent, included in the list;
– At the own expense of balance-operating organizations – in particular, in the part of the transfer of utilities, as well as overhaul of the roof and facades of residential buildings along the main streets of Tashkent, included in the list.
Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, “Uzkurilishmateriallari”, “Uzmetkombinat” and “Uzbekneftegaz” entrusted to ensure, on reasonable calculations of customers and the general planning organizations, the selection of cement, steel and bitumen – on regulated prices, as well as diesel fuel – on contracts commission.
Ministry of Finance of the Republic in turn entrusted to ensure the provision of advance funds in the framework of the parameters of the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2015-2016 years at the expense of cost items “other expenses” of Republican Road Fund under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which have to be directed for the purchase of building materials and petroleum products as well as funding for the implementation of road-repair work of the main streets of the city of Tashkent, included in the list.
