The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) held a meeting with representatives of Uzbek Scientific Research Institute of Natural Fibers and German FESTO GROUP Company on discussion of the initial project of cooperation.
This cooperation will serve to further development of the industry and creation of new jobs in the country.
It should be noted that the Republic of Uzbekistan joined the United Nations Industrial Development Organization on April 26, 1994. Nevertheless, close cooperation has not yet been established with this organization.
Together with many partner countries, the organization implements many investment projects in industry through the Program for Country Partnership and several other projects.
