Starting from the 2018/2019 academic year, quotas will be opened at the National University in the areas of taekwondo and sports events. These specialists will be trained on the basis of the new faculty of the National University of Uzbekistan – “Taekwondo and sports activities”.
The resolution on its creation was signed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 16.11.2017.
Within 2 months, a corresponding government decree will be adopted to finance the faculty, provide faculty, create educational and methodological literature and educational programs.
Among the main tasks of the faculty are the training of highly qualified personnel and coaches who have practical training and taekwondo training methods, as well as attracting high-class foreign and domestic specialists and trainers to training.
