In Hong Kong it was ended VIII Asian Judo Championships among cadets. It was attended by wrestlers from 18 countries, among them there were also representatives of our country.
Muhammad Hurramov (- 81 kg) and Ural Khusanov (- 90 kg) won gold medals. Khurshid Kadyrov (- 50 kg) and Mahliyo Mannonova (- 57 kg) raised the second step of the podium. Nodira Yuldasheva (- 70 kg) and Davlat Bobonov (- 73 kg) brought two bronze medals to the account of Uzbekistan, reports the Center of Martial Arts of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Thus, by the total number of medals the team of Uzbekistan shared the second place with the team of Mongolia. Our team got 2 gold, silver and bronze medals. In the team event only representatives of judo homeland – Japan’s national team was ahead of our team, whose 5 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze medals.
