Secretary General of the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO) V.Kuvshinov visited Uzbekistan.
During the visit, he had meetings in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In the meetings it was discussed promising areas of possible cooperation of Uzbekistan with the member countries in a multilateral and bilateral basis.
As a result of following meeting, it has been reached an agreement on the issues of organizing several events.
In the continuation of the visit, V.Kuvshinov well acquainted with the activities of the Institute of Civil Protection, which were demonstrated techniques and equipment used in the emergency departments.
The guests took a tour of the sights in Tashkent and Samarkand. In Tashkent, the guests visited the mosque “Hast-Imam”, the National Library named after Alisher Navoi, Palace Forum, Museum of History of Timurids, Museum of Art and Museum of Applied Arts. In the city of Samarkand, including visits to the ancient historical and cultural places, it has been conducted ostentatious special tactical training, which has been demonstrated action to rescue and assist victims, rescue equipment, scientific and methodological developments in the field of protection emergencies.
