The electronic portals of Kyrgyz analytical agencies such as AKIpress, Svoboda.kg and others published articles on the upcoming International Investment Forum held this year in November in Tashkent.
Sources inform that in the framework of the event the presentation of the leading enterprises in Uzbekistan will be demonstrated, which are included in the state program of privatization.
As reported in the media, the forum will be attended by members of the Government, heads of ministries and departments of Uzbekistan, official foreign delegations, heads of major foreign companies, investment funds and banks, as well as international financial institutions: the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation, Asian Development Bank and others.
“The program of events includes performances of major foreign investors about the experience of doing business in the country, breakout sessions on various sectors of the economy with the presentation of specific objects of privatization, visits to companies, as well as a cultural program with a visit to the ancient cities – Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, which will complement the business part of the event”, – was underlined in the news.
In conclusion, it notes that the upcoming event will allow foreign investors to establish mutually beneficial business contacts, discover new possibilities of expanding cooperation in the promising and fast-growing market of Uzbekistan.
