14th Charity fair “Time of miracles” – creative works of children with disabilities performed together with their mentors and tutors was held in Tashkent. It should be noted that the event is organized by the Centre for support of children with disabilities and their families “Umidvorlik” and initiative group of graduates PMP (A-Club) of Uzbekistan-Japan Center for Human Development (UJC). This year, the event was also supported by youth movement “Kamolot”.
The event was attended by 20 organizations that implement comprehensive programs designed to benefit the children with disabilities: children’s homes, special and boarding schools, and community organizations.
The aim of the fair is to attract representatives of business, charities, residents and visitors to the issues and problems of disabled children, to seek opportunities for implementation creative initiatives of children, as well as effective support and targeted work with children with disabilities, based on the principles of social responsibility.
Hand made work (gifts): paintings, cards, soft toys, gold embroidery, batik, handicrafts made of beads, embroidery, appliqué, carving and painting on wood and more will be presented at the fair. All products are made by 20 member organizations – by young people with disabilities together with the help of their mentors and teachers, volunteers and experienced craftsmen.
Everyone at the fair can find gifts for the whole family and friends and also take part in a master class or leave a donation. All funds that will be collected during the fair will go to charity.
Visitors will also be able to taste the sweetness of the sponsors, enjoy live music and visit the magicians show.
It should be noted that the charity fair “Time of Miracles” has become a bright annual event that is being held in Tashkent for children with disabilities and orphans who need our attention.
