An indoor swimming pool was put into operation in Romitan district of Bukhara region that was a real festive gift for the residents, especially the youth.
It was built at the expense of the Fund for Children’s Sports Development in the amount of 2.65 billion soums. There were created all conditions for the development of water sports, improving sports skills of young people. Cabinets for mentors, water composition analysis laboratory, and various auxiliary facilities were provided with the necessary equipment.
According to the regional branch of the Children’s Sports Development Fund of Uzbekistan, in 2016 gym halls were built in four schools by the fund’s resources. Major repairs were carried out at the stadium of the junior sports school of Vobkent district, building of children’s music and art school of Shafirkan district was reconstructed.
