Toyoko-Inn expresses interest in Chorsu Hotel

Japan’s Toyoko-Inn is expressing interest in reconstruction and exploitation of Chorsu Hotel in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

According to Uzbektourism, A delegation of Japanese company Toyoko Inn led by a member of the board and director Kosaburo Morinaka is paying a visit to Uzbekistan from 12 to 14 July.

Uzbektourism said that Toyoko-Inn is expressing interest in reconstruction and exploitation of Chorsu Hotel, which is located in historic center of Tashkent city.

Toyoko-Inn builds three star hotels. It has over 200 hotels in France, South Korea, Philippines and Cambodia. It is currently working on launching of new hotels in Frankfurt, Moscow, New York, Chicago and Toronto.

Chorsu Hotel was built in Tashkent in 1982. It has 23 floors and had 450 rooms. The hotel was closed for reconstruction in early 2000, but the works were not completed so far.
