Trade and investment opportunities between Uzbekistan and India discussed in Delhi

An interactive forum “Trade and investment opportunities between India and Uzbekistan” was held at the head office of the Federation of Indian Exporter Organizations (FIEO) in the city of Delhi. The event was organized by the Embassy of our country in Delhi and FIEO.

It was attended by representatives of business circles of India, as well as exporters from Namangan and Andijan regions.

The presentation and demonstration video about the investment and export potential of Uzbekistan, as well as about the main trends in the modern development of the country, aroused great interest among the participants.

Information about upcoming investment forums in Ferghana, Jizzakh and Syrdarya was presented to the attendees.

Along with this, a corner with an exhibition of agricultural, industrial and textile products of Uzbekistan was organized.

During the lively discussion, the participants of the event were able to get answers to all their questions, in particular about the investment and trade policy of Uzbekistan, privileges and privileges provided for foreign investors.

FIOE unites about 30 thousand business organizations in India. Members of the Federation are engaged not only in export, but also import, and also participate in the implementation of various investment projects in India and abroad.

General Director of the Federation of Indian Exporter Organizations Ajay Sahai said:

“It is gratifying that representatives of business circles of our countries strengthen interaction. Indian companies are interested in the participation of investment projects in Uzbekistan in such areas as pharmaceuticals, textiles, agriculture, oil and gas industry and others. We want to use the potential of our organization to increase trade and investment with Uzbekistan. In October of this year, I, together with members of our Federation, plan to visit Uzbekistan to discuss further cooperation with Uzbek partners. ”
