Traditional “Festival of Fine and Applied Arts” is launched in Tashkent

On 18th April, the exhibition hall of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan hosted inauguration ceremony of the traditional Festival of Fine and Applied Arts which will last until 22 April.

The organizers of the festival are the Academy of Fine Arts in collaboration with a number of country organizations and educational institutions. The event covers all regions of Uzbekistan, which also will be conducted art exhibitions and workshops.

The main objective of the project – to convey to the audience the idea of the high potential of creative artists of different generations, the love for the native land, the ability to see and appreciate beauty.

As part of this festival for interesting cultural programs and exhibitions Azerbaijani cultural center, master Chinese painting, diplomatic representatives of Iran, Indonesia, Vietnam, Slovakia, India, Italy, Bangladesh and Japan have expressed their desire to take part.
