“Ukrainian tourism”, the Ukrainian popular professional magazine of the tourism business, published an article dedicated to the tourism potential of Karakalpakstan – edge, concealing a lot of secrets.

Our reference: “Ukrainian tourism” magazine was founded in 2002. It is a periodical printed and the only Ukrainian professional edition of the tourism business. The magazine’s circulation is 6-7 issues per year.

Thus, the publication provided detailed information about the history, culture, traditions and the peculiar life of Karakalpakstan’s people, there are over 300 archaeological sites in its territory. In particular, in order to make it easy for tourists to learn historical objects – “Tuprok Kala”, “Kizil-Kala”, “Janbas Kala”, the article described in detail these ancient fortresses’ structure, their role in the life of nations living in the ancient land.

Along with this, the edition paid special attention to the activities of the Karakalpakstan State Museum named after Igor Savitsky – a native of Kiev, which has more than 84 thousand exhibits. A collection of history storage, including works of folk arts and crafts, fine arts, as well as works of ancient and medieval art, is known all over the world as one of the best art collections in Central Asia.

It reported that the museum is one of “Golden ring of Khorezm” tourist route’s objects, which is organized in cooperation with UNESCO. It is recognized as one of the most visited Uzbekistan’s museums and was awarded a diploma “Sayohlar etiborini qozongan muzey” for its active involvement of tourists in Uzbekistan in 2011.
