On March 15-18, 2016, in Beijing (China), under the chairmanship of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov it was held a meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, reports the pres-service of the MFA of Uzbekistan.
The representatives of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan extensively discussed the preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Council of Heads of the SCO Member States and other events to be held this year on June in Tashkent within the presidency of Uzbekistan in the organization.
During the meeting, the SCO Secretariat presented the information on the process of negotiations on granting India and Pakistan the SCO Member State status, as well as singing the Memorandums with dialogue partners of the SCO – Azerbaijan, Armenia and Nepal.
National coordinators have identified the date of the next meeting of the CNC in Beijing.
