Marakanda Expedition at support of Uzbektourism and Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan developed a guide about Uzbekistan for tourists from Russia and CIS states in Russian language.
A 140-page publication provides information on planning of travel, country and people, as well as routes in Uzbekistan. Overall, it includes 38 routes and 17 maps of the cities of Uzbekistan, Uzbektourism said.
The book also provides history of Uzbekistan, traditions, customs and religion, holidays and festivals of the country. It also has mini-phrasebook.
It also provides information on climate, financial issues, shopping and bazaars, etc.
