Two universities from Uzbekistan were included to the ranking of universities of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), which was published by the Russian agency Expert RA.
The ranking of the best CIS universities includes 153 universities from Russia, Ukraina, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Moldavia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.
The ranking was based on statistic data, results of polling of 5,500 teachers, employees, scholars, students and graduates.
The universities were divided into five ranking classes from A to E. A represents the highest level of training of students, B- very high level, C, D and E – high, acceptable and good enough levels.
About 64 universities in the ranking are in D class and 50 universities in E class, Expert RA agency said.
National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek and Samarkand Agriculture Institute were included the ranking in D class.
