Uzbekistan Airways to conduct 35 flights within Umrah programme

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) started to conduct flights within “Umrah-2014” programme from 15 February 2014, the press serviceof the airline said.

Pilgrims from various regions of Uzbekistan, who will perform “small Hajj”, are delivered to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with Boeing 757/767 airplanes.

The airline said that Uzbekistan Havo Yollari adopted a complex of measures to provide quality services to the pilgrims.

According to the airline, the group of skilled employees was created to rendering quality services and comfortable conditions for passengers, who are flying to Jeddah.

The special attention was paid to meals, which included halal meat products, hot and cold snacks, dry fruits, salads and sweets.

The airline said that it transported 4,977 pilgrims in 2013 and conducted 28 flights. This year, Uzbekistan Havo Yollari will conduct 35 flights and transport 5,900 passengers. The Umrah programme will continue till 15 May 2014.
