Memorandum of cooperation in the field of tourism was signed between the State Committee on Development of Tourism of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda of Spain within the framework of participation of Uzbekistan in FITUR International Tourism Fair in Madrid.
As reported by the Press Service of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Development of Tourism, the document provides for implementation of a number of projects, including through establishment of direct contacts between business entities, introduction of innovative technologies in the sphere of tourism, marketing research, and others.
As the first project of implementation of provisions of the agreement, a visit of the Spanish expert in the sphere of tourism to Uzbekistan will be held already in early February this year. In particular, he will study the state of tourism infrastructure, the level of education in the field of tourism. Recommendations on development of a national tourism product and promotion of “Uzbekistan” tourism brand in the world tourism market are prepared.
