As of October 15, members of Uzbekistan delegation won 12 medals – four gold, four silver and four bronze at the third Youth Olympic Games in Argentina.
Judoist Jaikhunbek Nazarov, weightlifter Kumushkhon Fayzullayeva, and Gulbakhor Fayziyeva in rowing and canoeing championships brought gold medals to the national team, and Umidjon Jalolov, in freestyle wrestling.
Silver medals were awarded to Ulugbek Rashidov in taekwondo championships, weightlifter Muhammadkodir Toshtemirov, Islom Abdusalomov in rowing and canoeing, Shokhida Akhmedova in women’s wrestling.
Nilufar Yermagambetova (judo), Indira Ulmasova (gymnastics, mixed), Dolera Davronova (weightlifting), Muhammadrasul Rakhimov (freestyle wrestling) won bronze medals.
