The halls of the arrival of the Tashkent International Airport are equipped with modern thermal imagers for medical examination of each airline passenger, reports press service of the Ministry of health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
They are also installed in the airports of Bukhara, Samarkand, Urgench and Navoi, which are often visited by tourists and businessmen.
To conduct medical monitoring along with specialists sanitary control of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision NAC “Uzbekistan Airways” attracted doctors clinics Research Institute of virology and epidemiology, microbiology and infectious diseases at the Ministry of health.
Specialists of all sanitary checkpoints are equipped with personal protective equipment in sufficient quantity.
The clinic of the Research Institute of virology prepared special boxes with adjustable pressure to hospitalization of persons with suspected Ebola. It also creates the necessary provision of medicines, personal protective equipment and decontamination. The same provision established in the regional hospital of infectious diseases.
To improve care, awareness and professional skill of doctors and paramedical workers with participation of experts of centers sanitary and epidemiological surveillance, infectious disease specialists and virologists conducted seminars on the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical picture, diagnosis, treatment, prevention and Ebola epidemic. Such activities are also conducted among the population.
