Cotton yarn (55.1 percent), as well as finished knitwear and sewing products (22 percent), have the main share in the structure of textile exports.
According to the State Statistics Committee, in 2021, over 522 types of textile products were exported to 65 countries of the world.
Exports of textile products were carried out for $2,927.2 million, which accounted for 17.6 percent of total exports and compared to 2020, it increased by 52.3 percent.
The largest share of textile exports falls on Russia ($910.7 million – 31.1 percent) and China ($636.3 million – 21.7 percent).
Last year the total number of exporting entities amounted to 6,547, and the volume of exports (excluding gold) amounted to $1,2500,8 million (an increase of 34.4 percent compared to the same period in 2020).
